Global Leadership and International Engagement Student Conference
Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte graciously hosted NCAIE for our 2024 Global Leadership and International Engagement Student Conference! It was a fantastic day, and we had our largest turnout on record, with 75+ college students in attendance. This year’s service project was to make “reverse swag bags” for International House Charlotte, which will be given to local students of immigrant families.
Building Bridges in Times of Uncertainty
The North Carolina Association of International Educators (NCAIE) hosts an Annual Student Conference for students who are passionate about working across cultures and further developing a global mindset to. This conference is a chance for students of all types to come together to learn about each other and share in their experiences. Through this conference, students will gain knowledge and relationships that will help them become further engaged in global leadership and exchange.
Interested in hosting the 2025 Student Conference?
Serving as a conference host has numerous rewards, including advancing international education for students around the state. The host institution will work in partnership with the NCAIE Student Conference Co-Planners and the Board to plan an enriching day for students all over the state.

Payment can be made online or by check. Checks must be postmarked by October 26, 2024.
Registrations made after October 11 are not guaranteed. For late registration requests, contact Thor Duryea.
Financial Responsibility Policy
All participants who submit a registration form will be held financially responsible for the appropriate fees. Submission of form indicates registration for the event regardless of means of payment. Registrants that arrive without completing payment will have to complete payment on-site in order to participate.
Cancellation notification must be received prior to October 16, 2024 for a full refund. After this date, no refunds will be issued. Checks must be post-marked by October 26, 2024. If no payment or notice of cancellation is received by October 26, 2024 and the participant cancels thereafter, or does not show up to the event, the participant will still be held financially responsible for the appropriate fees.
Group registration is not available, but NCAIE can accommodate group payments. If making a group payment by check, please include the list of all the registrants covered by the check when mailing the payment. For questions about billing and payments please contact PJ Shoulders.
