The NCAIE Board serves on a voluntary basis to provide professional development opportunities for international educators, community volunteers, and college students in North Carolina. 

In addition to their position’s duties, Board members meet several times per year and are expected to participate in and attend the NCAIE Annual State Conference every Spring. All positions have a term length of three years unless otherwise stated in the position description.

Board members must be geographically based in the state of North Carolina, demonstrate a clear connection to the state of North Carolina, and have a history of engagement in the state of North Carolina within the area/sector that they would be representing.
