The NCAIE State Conference
The NCAIE State Conference is a great opportunity to meet new and old friends, colleagues, and other international education professionals from across the State. The conference includes networking opportunities, professional development sessions, an NCAIE State Meeting, and more.
Interested in hosting the 2026 or 2027 Annual Conference at your university?
We’re looking for conference hosts for the 2026 and 2027 Annual Conferences! Serving as a conference host has numerous rewards, including offering professional development and shared learning for other international education professionals around the state. If you have questions and concerns about hosting the conference, please email the NCAIE Board at ncaieorg@gmail.com.
Host Institution’s Responsibilities
Identify an individual at your institution who will be the main contact for conference planning and logistics. This individual should be available to commit to the following:
- Assist the NCAIE Board with all logistics and planning for the conference, providing support for questions throughout the planning process.
- Be available on-site for the day of the conference to assist with logistics and any issues that arise.
- Coordinate technical assistance for the conference days in case needed by the NCAIE Board and/or presenters.
- Give a welcome/introduction at the opening of the conference, or identify another member of their team to offer a welcome.
- Meet virtually as needed with the NCAIE Board for the 6 months leading up to the conference.
- Meet with Board members to do a walk-through of the facilities and review the logistical details of the conference (typically in the January prior to the conference).
NCAIE Board’s Responsibilities
The NCAIE Board is responsible for working with the host institution regarding logistics and planning for the Annual Conference. The Board’s responsibilities include:
- Marketing to institutions around the state
- Participant registration
- Collecting participant registration fees
- Coordinating and paying associated vendors
- Developing content
- Planning the schedule
- Staffing the check-in/registration
